13 Weeks to a Better Me – Challenge Week 2

13 weeks to a better me

Well everyone, I got through week 1 of my 13 Weeks to a Better Me challenge! It wasn’t too bad – but I purposely started with an easy-ish task so that I’d (hopefully) get off to a good start. I’ve definitely been doing waaayy better about drinking more water (and you can check out that post here – and grab your free printable!) but I still have some improvements to make. Good thing I still have 12 more weeks to work towards building the habit of staying hydrated!

Week 1 Challenge in Review

So, for my week 1 challenge, I set the goal to drink 8 or more glasses of water per day. Honestly, I should probably be drinking more than that, since it is summer, we have no air conditioning, and I’m nursing a baby… but for now I’m working on 8 glasses per day!

This past week, I managed to reach my goal of drinking enough water only twice… so that’s actually kind of pitiful! But compared to my norm (drinking maybe 3 or 4 glasses) I’m feeling great! Most days I drank 6-7 glasses, which is definitely an improvement.

This coming week I’m going to continue to work on that. I had a nagging headache today and I honestly think it was because I’m not hydrated enough!

Week 2 Challenge

This coming week is going to be a bit tougher to tackle, but I am all in! This is an area I’ve always longed to get figured out but always lacked the discipline to do it. This challenge is giving me the push I need to finally make it a reality!

The area I’m working on this week is…. Creating a Morning Routine. Because this is a rather long thing to explain, I’ve written a whole separate post about it, which you can find here.
